Effective Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills – Live Webinar

(You must attend both sessions in order to earn the 4 CEU credits.)

This presentation will offer techniques that will improve the organizational environment of security companies by enhancing conflict management and communication skills. It will provide insight into how perception, dynamic listening skills and communication impacts workplace relationships and productivity. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the root causes of conflict, recognizing the value of conflict, reinforcing the impact of behavior styles on communication and the utilization of a model for resolving conflict.

Required Training Classes
All NJESA classes have been approved by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs – Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith Advisory Committee for credits of continuing education.

All New Jersey alarm dealers and installers are required to be licensed and renewed every three years.  For more information on renewal and new applicant CEU requirements, click here.

December Training Class Review
Our December training class, held on the 4th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the ADI branch in Marlton was well attended. Course instructor John Drucker  offered four classes that provided members with 7 credits.

The courses included NJ Uniform Fire Code – 2015 IFC/NJ Update Primer; Strobes – Understanding Visual Notification: Supervising Station and Code Requirements; and Methods to Reduce False and Nuisance Fire Alarms.

Lunch was provided by the NJESA. Thanks again to ADI for sponsoring the training.
