We Now Have a New Name!
We Are Now the New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association!
At the recent Membership Meeting, held October 17 during the Central Region Meeting, you voted for a new name for our association.
We are now The New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association!
We made the change for a number of reasons. First, it didn´t seem right to continue as the New Jersey Electronic Security Association (NJESA) since we are no longer connected to National (ESA).
It is also more inclusive of industries such as telecommunications, locksmiths and others that we will be welcoming.
As you know, there are many factors in changing name. The change will be progressive as we develop a new logo, a new domain name, a new website, new marketing materials, new benefits and much more. We will keep you posted as we move forward.
Please know that we are very excited to keep advocating for you under our new name. After fifty years of accomplishments, first as the New Jersey Alarm Association, then the New Jersey Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, and finally, the New Jersey Electronic Security Association, our new name better captures the rising importance of including other industries in the marketplace and paves the way for focusing on the issues that matter most to you in the Garden State.
Of course, we will continue to be the same committed association you’ve come to know. We’ll keep fighting for you in the forums that matter most, we’ll keep striving to keep you informed, and we’ll work on providing you with the best training and benefits in the industry and in New Jersey!
This is a new beginning as we embark on the next fifty years. We are excited and hope you are as well.
Welcome to the New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association!
